UNITY!

UNITY!

UNITY! is a ministry under the Connect City umbrella focused on providing programming for local refugee and homeless children and youth. UNITY! is directed by: ministry founder and new mom with over a decade of child programming under her belt, Brittany Simone; experienced children and youth worker dedicated to directing programs, Daniel Collins; Barbadian national and refugee with a passion for youth work, Josiah Cheltenham; and creative innovator who loves putting what she’s learned to practice, Tania Nguyen.

UNITY! provides a wide range of programming, including: a children and youth summer day camp (Camp Unity), Christmas parties, weekly event nights, and evening programs for refugee and homeless children and youth. Our mission is to show them the love of Jesus while uniting them with Canadian culture.

UNITY! Kids

UNITY! Kids is our activity and events program catered to local refugee and homeless children living in a Toronto shelter. UNITY! Kids provides bi-weekly programs for children during the school year, and a 7-week day camp in the summer! During the school year, we host movie nights, art and craft nights, dance parties, games nights, annual Christmas parties and many more fun and engaging activities. Our goal is to provide a safe, fun, and educational space where the children can attend, be themselves, and have a blast, all while we are showing them the love of Christ!

UNITY! Youth

UNITY! Youth offers a welcoming space for discussion and personal growth among refugee and homeless youth in a Toronto shelter. UNITY! Youth fosters both individual and collective development, providing a variety of engaging activities. Among its offerings are a teen male Bible study, health and wellness sessions, Friday night youth hangouts, and a vibrant summer day camp (Camp Unity), all designed to empower young refugee and homeless teens, and help them build a supportive community.
